On 30 November the Queensland Government passed legislation allowing same sex couples to enter into a Civil Partnership. None of the arrangements have been finalised yet but Celebrants will be able to apply to become a Civil Partnership Notary. It is my intention to become as Civil Partnership Notary as soon as the processes are in place. On 2 April 2012, as per the legislation, I will be applying to become a Civil Partnership Notary
